You would think that since we’d moved a whole month ago now, my husband would have had the chance to ensure everything heavy was put away right? You know, the kids’ dressers taken to their rooms, our dressers put in our room, nightstands along the bed and all that good stuff.

Right!

And he even had a FOUR day weekend for Thanksgiving. What did he do? He sat here on his ass all weekend and did nothing. No joke.

Now, I’m freakin’ sick, can’t even talk my throat hurts so bad. All that comes out is a squeak and yet, even “I” still managed to cook dinner every singe night. Not to mention lunch and breakfast. And do laundry. And bathe the kids.

Ok . . . I take that back. A little.

He *did* manage to pick up our teenager from her friends house once, do 1 load of laundry and went to the store to get me some Sprite. But no other help. None.

I feel like punching him.

I really want my clothes. Do you know my dresser has so much stuff stacked in front of it in the basement that I can’t even open the drawers if I wanted to? I have been wearing the same pair of pants and three shirts since the weekend we moved. (Don’t worry – I *have* washed them!)

But still . . . he can get to his clothes. The kids can get to theirs. I have mentioned this to him but has he made any effort? I’m trying to be nice but I think nice is going to give way to B I T C H very soon.

As soon as I *can* talk again.

He better pray hard when that time comes.

Until “D” day,

who is livid and feels like shit

Did “D” day ever come for him?

So how’s it going? First, are you feeling better? Second, did your hubby survive the rath?

I am feeling better – mostly – but my throat and voice aren’t totally well. I have moments where I can talk fine and then five minutes later, I can’t talk again. It’s highly annoying.

And my nose is still running faster than a race horse.

But I *did* make my opinion known the other night. Not as well as I’d have liked. It was met with all kinds of excuses but I think he’s got it figured out I’m not impressed nor happy and that he had better get it sorted out soon.

Good for you! I hope things work out better for you now.

I’m glad you are doing better. Maybe next time you can just ignore him and see what happens then.

  6. brainfried on 12.17.2008

Yeah, I do often ignore him. For a while, at least. And NOTHING ever happens.

    Things just never get done.

Men! I tell ya! ;-) Sometimes they are such babies. You have to do everything for them.

Well… the next time he wants to go for a roll in the hay, cut him off!

Ohhh playing mean lol You’ll have to let me know how that one goes.
